Cricket is likewise exciting for Pakistani men and women. As per the establishment of the PCB Women wing, the opportunities increased for women as well. Sana Mir is the role model for those women who are intending to launch a career in sports.
Sana Mir is the flag raiser of women empowerment in Pakistan. Sana received Asian games and ICC Awards. She is a gold medallist in sports, cricket. She left the engineering course to focus more on her career in sports and she proved herself.
Maria Toorpakai Wazir
Who can forget the names of Jan Sher Khan and Jehangir Khan in the field of squash? Here, Maria Toorpakai Wazir, from Waziristan emerged as a sportswoman in the field of squash. Sahib has a unique story as she posed herself as a boy for 16 years under the name tag of Gangish Khan. Toorpakai got third place in women squash and become famous as young Pakistani talent in sports. The regime awarded her Salaam Pakistan Award to boost up her confidence level. Toorpakai gave life to squash in Pakistan for another time.
Hajra Khan
Hajra Khan is the name of football team captain. Hajra is an ambassador of the sportswomen of Pakistan. Hajra is an international footballer. She did 100 goals at a stretch in her club, once. Hajra is the most renowned player from Pakistan. Hajra was very young when she secured titles. Hajra is proud of Pakistan as only at the age of 21 years, she was invited to plat at three highest level places, German football clubs SGS Essen, FSV Gütersloh 2009, and VfL Sindelfingen.
Sahib Asra
Sahib Asra is another name of sportsmen from Pakistan. Asra belongs to a religious family as her father was an Imam of the mosque. It was a challenge for her to prove herself in athletes but she did it as her father supported her in this regard. Asra was a runner.
