Catchy Scenes!
The episode has a catchy scene of decent engagement ceremony. This was a decent progress because it avoided sort of unnecessary delays that we see in the critical dramas. The engagement was a catchy scene as it was the outcome of the decision of Mehreen regarding Aswad, finally. Mashal outburst was a natural thing as per her emotional psyche and mood tones. But it gave some catchy scenes to the episode. This gave the message that it is essential to control your emotions otherwise they will monitor your decision making power.
Mehreen, You go Girl!!
Mahreen is indeed deprived in many ways. Even her outlook and communication modes depict the message. But the lovely thing about the novel is that still, the main leading female role is not showing herself “bechari” to a high extent.
This is giving a positive message that confidence is not all about your situations but also about your reactions to the situations. Surprisingly, Mahreen shared a half-truth with Saffan to make sure that she has some safe side for the future. She is aware of the fact that she is not a ping pong ball. That is good but she needs to gain more confidence.
Interesting Twists....
No drama goes fine unless the audience have some interesting twists via suspense mode. The novel is indeed giving a plain story but the actors are keeping it interested throughout. The engagement was an interesting twist in the episode. It helped the story move ahead. The acceptance of the proposal was a flow of the story. Indeed, Mashal’s overreact to Mehreen gave support to the decision somehow.
Emotional Support
Mashal’s behaviour was as per expectations. She had to respond to the situation according to her mentality and physically annoying outcomes. It was not easy for Mehreen to finalise the engagement plan for the present episode but she found some emotional support from the slap she received.
Nani’s role is also not avoidable in emotional coordination. She has also animatedly dealt with the issues to ensure support for Mehreen. Aswad rejected Mashal, although it was also an emotional scene the reaction of Mashal on Mehreen left no soft corner support for Mashal from the audience.
Confusion Or Commitment ...hmmm
Aswad was confused in the current episode at some spots. He clear the things between him and Mashal by ensuring that there was no commitment between them. It was surprising because traces of commitments existed in the past episodes but anyways! Later Aswad was supposed to convince Mehreen of his proposal but he left the final decision authority to her. Even he was aware of the fact that she is a confusing personality and might fail to decide.
All in all, the episode gave some new twists to the story. It seems that the story is moving ahead and the audience are developing interest in it. Although the novel is plain but still the direction, acting, outlook, display and many other factors help display a plain story in a wonderful manner.
